Wipe Volume
-
"Wipe Volume" erases volume data permanently by overwriting volume disk space once or several times. There are three ways to activate Wipe Volume Wizard:
1. Click "Wipe Volume" under "Dynamic Disk" after selecting desired volume.

2. Right click and select desired volume and then click "Wipe Volume" in popup menu.

3. Select "Wipe Volume" under "Operations" in Action Panel.

"Wipe Volume" window can be launched by any of these methods above.

Five wiping methods are available on the partition magic server.
"Fill Sectors with Zero", "Fill Sectors with One" or "Fill Sectors with Zero&One" can be selected if we don't pose too high requirement on data security. These three methods respectively employ "0", "1" and "0" / "1" alternatively to fill sectors alternative.
If there is high data security requirement, "DoD 5220.22-M" and "DoD 5220.28-STD" are recommended.
Warning: All volume data is to be lost permanently after applying "Wipe Volume".
